SUMMER 2007 IN FINLAND

When I arrived in Finland on May 2007, I immediately got an opportunity to try out swing music with famous Finnish swing-man Antti Sarpila. You can read the result from Antti Sarpila’s statement.

July 14-22, 2007

The Antti Sarpila Swing Band performed on Wednesday July 18, 2007 in Club Garden and I had an honor to perform as a singing soloist with them.
Club Garden was sold out and the atmosphere there was fantastic and inspiring. I will never forget this experience.

My debut CD “Solar Powered”

The absolute highlight of my summer in Finland was composing my own music and getting it recorded to a CD. I used my keyboard to play all different instruments and I also made all lyrics by myself and of course, I did also all vocals.

“Solar Powered” was released on September 28, 2007 on Broadway, New York. Musical Director Steven Katz wrote a statement about this CD on October 17, 2007.Get it now!
