Finland House - American Finnish Tourist Club, Inc.

The purpose of the American Finnish Tourist Club is to maintain Finnish culture, heritage, and traditions among people of Finnish origin who live in or are visiting Southern Florida. Finland House history is based upon friendship, cherishing the mutual relationships among Finns in our area.

The activities in Finland House take place mainly during "the season", from October to April. Repertoire includes performers from all areas of culture and entertainment, from Finland as well as this continent. Several membership organizations gather at Finland House premises. Example of the various activities offered by them are Finnish and English language classes, exercises and fitness classes for men and women, table tennis, dance, karaoke and other entertainment. The very popular Finnish Pancake Breakfast and Rummage Sale are held the first Saturday of each month. The Finland House library is open during the season on Sunday afternoons, likewise the impressive The Price of Freedom Museum.

The ground floor of the Finland House has two halls, a bar, and a kitchen. Library, museum and the meeting rooms are located on the second floor. The halls and meetings rooms are available for renting throughout the year for private and corporate events, such as weddings, birthday parties, lectures, etc.
