New singers are always welcome.  (Songs are sung in Finnish)


The Ladies of Kaleva in Florida

Our local K. N. Auringottaren Tupa No. 56 was founded in March of 1956.
The meetings are held at Finland House from October to May, every 2nd and 4th Monday.
The Ladies of Kaleva have equal status and function independently.
The objectives of the Kalevalaiset are:

  • To elevate the educational and moral levels of the members
  • To develop fraternal and sisterly conceptions
  • To give protection and aid to members in difficulty by mutual effort
  • To function as a closed fraternity and sorority
  • To reserve the Finnish heritage

The Karelians of Florida, Inc.

· founded  - in 1966, currently appr. 150 members
· meetings - with coffee social at Finland House on first Saturday of each month 
· membership - open to anyone of Karelian descent and/or willing to support our mission

Mission: to foster and promote our awareness and understanding of the Karelian 
culture, history and heritage

American-Finnish Nordic Club, Inc.

MISSION
Our mission is heighten the awareness of the cultures of Southern, Central and Northern Ostrobothnia regions of Finland. We support the operations of Finland House and other local Finnish groups.

MEETINGS
The group meets on the second Friday of each month during the winter season at 2 p.m. Our meetings are conducted in Finnish. A coffee hour precedes the meetings offering time for fellowship among the members. 

MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to anyone from Ostrobothnia or with roots from that area. We also cordially invite others with an interest in being a part of our organization.

Stretch & Tone AND Aerobics Tuesdays 7-8:30 PM, August to July, Finland House Main Ball Room, for men and women of all ages. Bring hand weights, exercise mat or thick towel, and water to drink. Instructed by Tuula Blackmon (561-306-1892)/Anita Tarvainen (561-758-7592).
